Honoring Dr. Gandhi’s Legacy

Honoring Dr. Gandhi’s Legacy

An Important Update About Your Child’s Care

We are writing to share an important and heartfelt update. After nearly 20 years of caring for children and families at Silverlake Pediatric Clinic, Dr. Nita Gandhi will be leaving the clinic. Her final day seeing patients will be September 3, 2026.

Dr. Gandhi has been an integral part of Silverlake Pediatric Clinic since 2006. During that time, she cared for thousands of children, watched many of them grow into adulthood, and even had the privilege of caring for the children of patients she once treated as children. These lifelong relationships are a testament to the trust our families have placed in her and the lasting impact she has made in our community.

Dr. Gandhi truly enjoyed caring for our patients and being part of the Silverlake family. While no one can replace the history, relationships, and special connection she has built with our families, Silverlake Pediatric Clinic remains committed to continuing the high standard of care that our patients have come to expect. We are in the process of welcoming a dedicated and compassionate pediatric physician who will continue providing exceptional care to our families.

During this transition and beyond, Silverlake Pediatric Clinic will continue to operate under the leadership of Dr. Ashu Syal, MD, FAAP who is committed to ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality pediatric care for every family we serve.

Silverlake Pediatric Clinic will remain open, and our team will continue caring for your child throughout this transition. Your child's medical records will remain securely maintained at the clinic, and no action is required if you wish to continue receiving care with us.

We are also expanding the services available to our families. In addition to our established ADHD program, Silverlake Pediatric Clinic will now offer behavioral and mental health services, speech evaluations, and additional pediatric services designed to support your child's medical, developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Our staff will assist families with scheduling and ensure that well-child visits, sick visits, medication management, ADHD follow-ups, behavioral health services, speech evaluations, and all other necessary care continue without interruption.

Most importantly, your child will continue receiving compassionate, personalized, and high-quality healthcare. Our commitment to your family remains as strong as ever.

We know Dr. Gandhi is irreplaceable, and she will be deeply missed by our patients, families, and staff. Her legacy will live on through the generations of families she has cared for and through our continued commitment to treating every child with the same compassion, dedication, and respect she has demonstrated since 2006.

Thank you for the trust you have placed in Silverlake Pediatric Clinic. We are honored to continue serving your family and look forward to caring for your children for years to come.

With sincere appreciation,

Silverlake Pediatric Clinic
Under the Leadership of Dr. Ashu Syal, MD, FAAP
